There is no greater dream than one that is held within your heart and keeps you moving forward when all else seems lost.

If you have read any of my books, and enjoyed it, I would like to ask you to return to its page where you bought it and leave a review. For it is only through your words that my books will catch on and be found by others.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford a professional editor. I have worked hard to edit my own books, but contrary to what my wife may think, I am no fool. I understand that no matter how hard you work to check your own work, it is extremely easy to miss errors. If you should notice any mistakes in my books, please let me know and I will try to fix them.

Looking for Beta Readers - Maroz

Temprorarily named "Maroz", this is a new old book. I wrote it years ago and when agents werent interested, I posted it in a blog. Recently I decided to go back over it, edit it some, change the names of some characters, and maybe give it a better name (if I can come up wth one I like).  Then of course I want to self Publish the book.

I am very close to finishing the re-edit and am looking for friends who would be willing to read it. I cannot pay, but at least you get a free book and some input to make it better.

I would be looking for....

1) Most importantly, mistakes in the story I missed. Things that I might have stated early in the story and forgot all about later.

2) Sentences that bring the reader to a halt because it is not smooth enough or too confusing.

3) If you are any good at editing, and wish to point out my misuse of commas or anything like that, I will not complain, as I cannot afford a professional editor and I know I am not perfect. In fact sometimes I think gorillas have better grammar.

4) Any parts in the story that simply become boring.

5) Not asking for this, but if you should think of better quips to make someone laugh rather than those I used at certain points, feel free to mention them. If you happen to just think... "Man did he miss a chance to do etc..." feel free to mention it. I may or may not agree, but if I like it, I am not too full of myself to make a little change here or there if I think it is better. I am even open to a better title. Anything that makes the book better.

NOTE - As I said, I cannot afford to pay anything for any ideas, or help offered. I can only offer a free ebook and add your name to my acknowledgements page.

Synopsis - A shadow is stretching across the land, threatening to swallow the world in its darkness. Within the shadow, the Lord of Death walks the land of the living, surrounded by his minions of Hell. The hope of the world lies in the hands of the elementals, men who can manipulate the five elements; fire, water, earth, wind, and spirit.

If you are interested in reading this book, please email me at KennethJEster@hotmail.com and let me know a little about yourself.  Do you read a lot of books? What genre is your favorite? Do you have a good knowledge of the English language?  Oh, and a na,e is always helpful. :o)

Impatience is My Greatest Enemy

With the first two books of the Demon Siege Trilogy available, there is a yearning in me to write the third and complete the series. Which would also probably start another series in doing so. I have another entirely different book in the works and about 1/3 finished. I also have a novel I wrote years ago, and ended up placing it on a blog.

At this time, I have decided to work on the completed older story first. When I wrote it, I was still learning how to write. I am still learning how to write, but I have improved in the years. At least I would like to think so. So I figured it would take less time to go over a previously completed story and clean it up, give the characters smoother sounding names and such than it would to write the other stories.  Yet while I do this, I am impatient to get back to the other stories. I have to be wary of this impatience, for I do not want it to make me hurry through fixing up the current work.

Map to Jawiva

Hell in a Storm will soon be available at Amazon in a paper back printed version. Hopefully, if all goes well, it will be available within a week, or two if it is delayed. God I hope not longer.

In the printed version, I was hoping to add a page with a map of Jawiva, the Land of the Three Kings. Unfortunately, I have come to realize that though I am artistic minded enough to create a decent map, I cannot seem to create one that is legible when it is scaled down to the size of a book page.

In lieu of this problem, I have decided to post the map here in this blog and the URL for where to find it in the book.

Note* - This map is sort of a living document, as I will ad more information and details as I feel they are needed to accommodate future books.
