Hell in a Storm, the first book of the Demon Siege Trilogy, has received some very good reviews at Barnes & Nobles Ebook store. With a ranking of 1 to 5 stars, Hell in a Storm is averaging a solid 4 Stars!
I believed in myself and believed I could write a decent story, but there is nothing more satisfying to an author than to read reviews by others, whom he does not know, which rave about his story and writing.
With the good reviews, and with Descent of Darkness coming so close to being published, I felt it was time to put Hell in a Storm up for sale at Amazon. However, since one does not have the ability to place a book for free at Amazon, I was forced to put a price of $2.99, as well as now add the same price at other places the book is available.
If you have not read Hell in a Storm, I hope you will give it a chance. After all, what is $3 today for a chance to read a good book?
There is no greater dream than one that is held within your heart and keeps you moving forward when all else seems lost.
If you have read any of my books, and enjoyed it, I would like to ask you to return to its page where you bought it and leave a review. For it is only through your words that my books will catch on and be found by others.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford a professional editor. I have worked hard to edit my own books, but contrary to what my wife may think, I am no fool. I understand that no matter how hard you work to check your own work, it is extremely easy to miss errors. If you should notice any mistakes in my books, please let me know and I will try to fix them.

In the Mean Time
Descent of Darkness is still coming. The book is finished and my best friend and the one person I trust to be honest about my writing has read it. And in his words, "I read your book. It's great!"
I will be spending a little more time going over it one more time myself and seeing if I need to make any adjustments. Then it will be published.
In the Mean Time!
While my friend was reading The Descent of Darkness, and I took a step back to clear my head of it, I have put together a Joke Book.
LMAO Joke Book is a collection of 150 of the very funniest clean jokes I could find. I'm not talking about the stupid jokes you see on every joke site and in every book. After reading thousands of jokes, these are only the jokes that actually brought a laugh or chuckle from me. By the LMAO Joke Book (Ebook) at Smashwords for only $2.99!

"Descent of Darkness" Coming soon
Descent of Darkness, book two of the Demon Siege Trilogy is nearly finished. I am on a next to last run through with the book. When I am done going over it, I will be handing it off to my friend, who is the one person I know I can count on to read it and be honest with me. He will go over it, scribble notes about what he doesnt like, and then I will go over it and fix the things he noted... If I agree with him.
The down side to the second book, is that it is not as long as the first. At this time, it tops out at just under 61,000 words. I am sorely disappointed with myself over this. I like to put 70,000 as my minimum. I could fatten it up but I would only do so if I can add solid meat to the story. I would rather have a solid novel that is on the short side, than a longer novel with a lot of useless fat in the story.
Descent of Darkness
In Descent of Darkness, the demon, Arkaix, uses the Uguchi, a warrior tribe from across the desert to invade the Land of the Three Kings. With the power of an ancient scepter he attacks the City of Alexander with one goal in mind. To obtain the Logimaj Dagger. A weapon of sacrifice that will allow his demons to have their spiritual strength in the physical world. To create an army that will hunt down and kill the human race.
The Lords and Generals of Alexander have fled in the face of the invading Uguchi. One captain, Marshal Cleves, holds the army together as they defend the city. Hoping to keep the Uguchi Warriors at bay until help can arrive. Armies are coming rushing to their aid, and with them are the heroes from War of Demons.
Hel Bragen, the Giant, the priest, Levicus Kane, and the troubled Stray are joined by Curion, the angel who survived in the War of the Demons, and Marz Wolfe, the most feared killer to ever walk the land. They know what they will be facing. What they do not know, is if the Uguchi can be stopped.
I hope you have tried reading Hell in a Storm, and that you enjoyed it. I personally believe Descent of Darkness, will stand above its predecessor. However, with the first book being free, this will not be the case for the second book.
